Renewable energy is the answer for huge energy demand of the future world. Particularly in India where energy demand is growing so rapidly and fossil fuels are very limited, renewable energy does provide a plausible solution.

Understanding the industry and its potential, Derit entered into the business of owning and operating solar plants. Derit, through its subsidiary (LSGPL), owns & operates 2 solar PV Grid interactive plants at Charanka and Chindiyana villages of Gujarat. The total capacity of both the plants is 30 Mw which is distributed as 15 Mw at each plant.

Generated power is being supplied to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL) under the long terms power purchase agreement for each of the plants.

In future, we are continuously looking for acquiring more solar/wind power plants and growing organically as well as inorganically through acquisition in renewable sector.
